B&C Morning Show: Ivan Nova's 16th Win Leads To 'Clinch Day' In The Bronx
After beating down the Tampa Bay Rays last night 5-0, behind Ivan Nova and Curtis Granderson, the Yankees' magic number is now low enough to clinch a playoff berth tonight. With a double-header scheduled in the Bronx today against those same Rays, Craig declared today to be 'clinch day' -- and that means it's time to celebrate folks.
The aforementioned Ivan Nova notched his 16th win of the season last night and looked pretty impressive doing so. One would have to think that Nova has done more than enough to secure the 2nd spot in the Yanks rotation behind CC Sabathia come playoff time, but at this point only time will tell.

Moving right along to the gridiron, as we hear that the St. Louis Rams are peeved about what they perceived was the Giants faking injuries during Sunday's game in an attempt to slow down the Rams offense (and it worked). Rams head coach Steve Spagnuolo was so mad in fact, that he filed a complaint with the league.
So the Dynamic Radio Duo got things going early on during today's edition of the Morning Extravaganza, as only they can...
