B&C Morning Show: Brad Richards' Confusion And Jerry's Update
A certain act by Brad 'Bob' Richards during the Rangers' 5-3 loss last night to the Devils had Craig thinking the worst, and telling Boomer that he needs to 'break up' with his 'boyfriend' Richards.
After the relationship talk ceased, Jerry Recco began his first update of the morning and did so with a smile, as it was his Devils who broke the hearts of the Rangers and their loyal fan base (Craig Carton not included) with their Game 5 win, setting up a 'must-win' Game 6 for the Blueshirts Friday night at the Rock, in Newark.
The Yankees got back in their run scoring groove, in thanks in part to a couple of longballs courtesy of the 'lightning-rod' himself, Alex Rodriguez - who prior to the game said he felt like he was going to 'go off.' The Yanks turned A-Rod's prowess with the bat and a strong performance by Andy Pettitte into an 8-3 win over the over the might Kansas City Royals.
As for the Mets, they got a couple of 2 out, run producing hits from Lucas Duda & David Wright in their afternoon affair with the Pirates and parlayed them into a 3-1 win.
Plus, word is mike Woodson is close to getting an extension from the Knicks, Lamar Odom expresses interest in becoming a Knickerbocker, Tyson Chandler makes the NBA 2nd All Defensive team - after taking home the award for the Defensive Player of the Year a few weeks back (which makes very little sense) and the Sixers extended their series with the Celtics to a Game 7 in Boston, after a 82-75 over the Celtics on Philadelphia last night...
