B&C Morning Show: Bourgeois Jerry Offers An Update, Refuses To Use Public Transportation
Jerry Recco's first update of the morning had a little of everything. He began things recapping the Yankees' third straight loss before he and Craig broke into song.
We heard John Sterling's call of Bobby Abreu's 9th inning home run off of Mariano Rivera, which prompted Craig and Jerry to perform a duet. Joe Girardi commented on Mariano's cutter that wasn't cuttin'.
As for A.J. Burnett, he didn't pitch too well, allowing 4 runs (all in the 6th) in his 6 innings of work and then afterward we heard him throw his catcher Russell Martin under the bus.
Then we heard all about the Mets' second straight thrilling, come from behind win over the Padres and how Jerry refuses to use public transportation because he thinks it is beneath him or something. Terry Collins praised his team while Lucas Duda talked about his own bunting prowess.
We also got some NFL news as Plaxico Burress is still not practicing with the Jets, while Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett made an old school pornography comparison when talking about being a physical team...
