B&C Morning Show: Yankees' Battle In The Bronx And Much More

Friday's show began as you might have expected, with Boomer & Craig all sorts of fired up due to the fantastic weekend of sports that awaits us.  The MLB playoffs kick off this afternoon with an AL double dip, highlighted by a CC Sabathia-Justin Verlander match-up in the Bronx as a fitting nightcap.

We also got to hear the music stylings of Fo Onasis and Mina performing their hit, 'Here Come the Yankees,' which pumped Craigie up even more.

So you combine the excitement for the playoffs with the anticipation for both the Giants & Jets preparing to do battle this Sunday - and you have all the ingredients for a fantastic Football Friday edition (w/ a whole lotta baseball talk as well) of the Boomer & Carton Morning Extravaganza.

Word is Joe Girardi is going to go with grizzled vet Jorge Posada as his DH for the series with Detroit, while he also expects the 'Lighting-Rod' Alex Rodriguez to be in the Bombers' lineup throughout the series as well.

As far as their starting rotation, Freddy Garcia is scheduled to get the ball in Game 3, behind the aforementioned Sabathia and rookie Ivan Nova.   The guys discuss the decisions by Girardi and how they might impact the Yankees throughout this upcoming playoff run.

As far as the Giants and Jets, Craig sees a letdown from Big Blue and has his concerns about Gang Green's Sunday night match-up down in Baltimore, while Boomer reserved judgment until later in the program.

So the table was set for an action packed show as Craig 'the Shiatsu' and Boomer 'the German Sheppard' exercised their barks and got things started...
