3/8 CBS2 Tuesday Evening Weather Headlines

What a day! As expected, we had a few more clouds compared to Monday but temperatures were much warmer - mid and upper 60s for inland spots, more 50s for coastal folks. Expect a clear night with temps in the mid 40s to low 50s, with 53 in NYC.

The highlight of the week will be tomorrow. We expect a record smashing Wednesday with sunny skies and warmth normal in late May! We'll have widespread 70s across the area, and we're going with 74 in NYC. Some of the more built up spots in NJ could make a run for 80 degrees!

Thursday's gonna be another warm day with temps into the low 70s. There's a late day shower chance but it's looking like folks far north of NYC will have the best chance of getting any showers/thunderstorms. We'll cool off a bit Friday with partial sunshine, but we'll still be in the low 60s!
