10/27 CBS2 Tuesday Evening Weather Headlines

By Giorgio Panetta
CBS2 Chief Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Good evening everyone,

It's been a fairly tranquil day. We hit a high of 59° around 2 p.m. with clouds rolling after 11 a.m. However, it has remained dry. The Tri-State is very dry so I would expect rain to hold off until the bulk of it can overwhelm the atmosphere.

Rain will start to fall towards the break of dawn to the south and west. Low pressure will track north towards us as the morning progresses. Heavier rain will fall tomorrow afternoon and the evening commute will culminate with some of the heaviest showers.

Overnight into Thursday morning, except more of the same before the rain winds down.

Check back shortly!
