In the past three weeks, in broad daylight, someone walked up to two University of Minnesota students and grabbed them. In both cases a man approached the women near campus, touched them inappropriately and ran off.
University of Minnesota Police are looking for a suspect after a woman was sexually grabbed near the campus on Sunday. Police said the incident happened at about 4:15 p.m. near the area of Delaware Street and Huron Boulevard.
Police are investigating after a female University of Minnesota student was allegedly molested Friday evening while walking to her home near campus. According to police, around 9:20 p.m. the victim was walking to her home near Fulton Street SE and Ontario Street SE. Upon reaching her building, the victim said a man, who she believed was following her, reached out and grabbed her butt over her clothes.
A romantic couple were charged Friday in the death of a University of Minnesota student last fall. Shavelle Oscar Chavez-Nelson, 32, and Ashley Marie Conrade, 24, were both charged with second-degree intentional murder, according to the Dakota County Attorney's Office.
