Two injured after car hits bus shelter
MINNEAPOLIS — A car struck a bus shelter around 12:30 Wednesday afternoon.
Metro Transit Police say that the crash happened near Central Avenue and 27th Avenue NE in Minneapolis. Two people, who were believed to be inside the bus shelter at the time of the crash, received serious injuries.
They are expected to survive.
The driver of the car was taken into custody.
