Local Music Tap: Walker's 'Summer Music & Movies' Lineup Announced
The Walker Art Center has your outside music and movie needs covered later this summer – all for free.
On Thursday, the Walker announced the 2015 lineup of the Summer Music & Movies, featuring a varied sample of live local music and films.
The event, located in Loring Park, occurs every Monday from July 27 through Aug. 17. Music begins at 7 p.m. and movies start at dusk, around 8:45 p.m.

Music: Gary Louris & Friends
Film: Barbarella
Aug. 3
Music: Chastity Brown Band
Film: Danger: Diabolik
Aug. 10
Music: All Tomorrow's Petty
Film: Batman: The Movie
Aug. 17
Special closing event: MAKR's Coven with The Adventures of Prince Achmed (Silent animated film featuring live music score)
If there's rain, the events will move to the Walker Cinema.
