Coronavirus Updates: The Latest COVID-19 Headlines From April 19, 2020
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) announced Sunday that the number of positive coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in Minnesota has risen to 2,356. Thirteen more people also died, bringing the death total to 134.

- 8:49 p.m.: Minneapolis Park and Rec announces that Lake Harriet Parkway will not reopen to motor vehicles on Monday, April 20, but remain open to pedestrians until the morning of Monday, April 27, while strategies are assessed for providing access to people of all abilities.
- 7:42 p.m.: President Donald Trump says he was invoke the Defense Production Act to increase the production of swabs to aid in COVID-19 testing.
- 3:54 p.m.: Between April 19 and May 3, Cub Foods will return 18 Minnesota stores to a 24-hour schedule.
- 1:50 p.m.: Wisconsin health officials say the total number of COVID-19 cases has risen to 4,346. There are now 220 deaths.
