A Miami man has been arrested for allegedly providing Botox injections without a license to practice medicine, the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office said.
A woman accused of stealing Botox-like drugs and performing unlicensed injections is also charged with exploiting her 82-year-old employer, according to investigators.
The FDA has sent warning letters to 18 websites selling counterfeit or unapproved versions of Botox and similar injectable drugs commonly used to smooth wrinkles.
