The Golden Rose Barber Shop knew that they were the oldest barber shop in California but they just found out it’s 20 years older than they thought-making it the oldest on this side of the Rockies. The San Joaquin historical society was going to give them an entry award and through their research uncovered an extra 20 years in this downtown Stockton location.
