A winter storm with the potential to drop considerable snow began moving over Southeast Michigan on Saturday afternoon.
Snow will begin to overspread Southeast Michigan around midnight and continue through Sunday afternoon.
As a storm brings heavy snow to parts of the northern U.S. this week, some southern cities will see record-high temperatures.
CBS News Detroit's Gino Vicci was in Macomb County Wednesday talking with the county's Department of Roads director.
The storm is predicted to produce blizzard like conditions with many areas getting hit with more than a foot of snow and blasted with wind gusts possibly reaching over 60 mph.
