A line of severe storms triggered multiple tornado warnings in the Chicago area Wednesday afternoon.
A severe weather outbreak could hit the Chicago area Friday night, bringing damaging high winds and the possibility of isolated tornadoes.
Highs will be near 50 degrees on Monday with chances for a stray shower and mostly sunny skies.
They will be set up in the Chicago shelter system, but the organization says these new arrivals will strain the shelter's capacity.
