There are dozens of events planned in Chicago and suburbs for National Night Out 2025, which aims to bring together communities and the police officers who protect and serve them.
Organizers said the event keeps growing with each year.
National Night Out events happen with the goal of connecting people with the law enforcement officers sworn to keep them safe. Marybel Gonzalez reports.
Whether you wanted to try on an FBI tactical vest or pose with a police horse, there was fun for everyone at the event along Michigan Avenue.
The National Night Out is an annual get-together to help build relationships between neighbors and police.
