The Little Village Community Council says it is inviting business owners, street vendors, residents, and local churches to take part.
The residents are fighting back against violence with peace. CBS 2's Marybel Gonzalez reports.

There are new details surrounding a shooting that wounded seven people in Chicago's Little Village neighborhood. CBS 2's Darius Johnson reports it all started with an argument over a parking spot.
Fire officials say 5 victims were taken to the hospital in critical condition after shots rang out near 30th and St. Louis.
The shooting happened just after 3:38 a.m. in the 3500 block of West 30th Street, off St. Louis Avenue in Little Village. CBS 2's Sara Machi talked with worried neighbors.
Preliminary investigation indicated that a 30-year-old man was arguing with an unidentified male offender who pulled out a firearm and shot at the victim before fleeing the scene in a white van, police said.
The teens were scheduled to appear at a juvenile detention hearing on Saturday.
Police said around 5:15 p.m., the girl was walking home from a nearby store when the man exposed himself to her and began to follow her as she walked home.
