Chicago Mayor-elect Brandon Johnson had another high-profile meeting on Friday, getting some face time with Gov. JB Pritzker just one day after a sit down with Mayor Lori Lightfoot. CBS 2's Suzanne Le Mignot was at the governor's office in the West Loop where Friday's meeting took place.
Pritzker said he is pursuing additional federal resources for communities hit by Friday's storms.

This comes after he issued a disaster proclamation Saturday night to make sure communities impacted by the severe storms get the immediate help they need.
"She was afraid she wouldn't wake up."
Pritzker, a graduate of Northwestern law school in 1993, also will receive an honorary doctorate from his alma mater.
Pritzker says even with that money, he can maintain a balanced budget.
The state will distribute grants to 170 school districts to be used for incentives such as signing bonuses, housing stipends, apprenticeships, and loan repayments.
