Attorneys for the family of Isaac Goodlow III, 30, said he was unarmed when he was shot by two officers in his home early on Saturday, Feb. 3.
"Isaac Goodlow, a 30-year-old Black man, was shot and unjustifiably killed by the Carol Stream police officers," said Andrew M. Stroth, an attorney for Goodlow's family.
Numerous mutual aid companies from other municipalities were called in to help fight the fire.
By 4 p.m., the fire was already out – but fire crews remained on the roof at FIC America Corp. afterward. Kris Habermehl reports from Chopper 2.
