The blaze was reported shortly after 10 p.m. in the 800 block of North Laramie Avenue, according to Chicago Police.
Most recently, a man was shot in the West Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side. The 45-year-old was driving in the 4500 block of West Lake about 10:10 p.m. when someone in an SUV shot him in the left arm, according to Chicago Police. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition stabilized.

About 9:25 p.m., a 20-year-old man was shot to death in the West Side Austin neighborhood, police said. The man was standing in the parking lot of a gas station in the 300 block of South Cicero when another male walked up and shot him in the head, according to Chicago Police.
Most recently, a man with a gunshot wound to the abdomen showed up at a Near West Side hospital early Monday. He was shot in the abdomen and was dropped off at the hospital, police said. Investigators could not immediately say where the shooting occurred.
The fatal shooting occurred in the Austin neighborhood. Two men, both 36, were playing a dice game about 8:30 p.m. in the 5800 block of West Chicago Avenue when at least two other people walked up, announced a robbery and started shooting, according to Chicago Police.

About 12:45 a.m., the 19-year-old was standing outside in the 4800 block of West Madison Street when he "heard shots and felt pain," police said.
