Three adults were injured in a fire in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side Sunday morning, according to Chicago Fire Media.
Police said the boy was sitting in the back seat of hi mother's car in the 1000 block of North Leamington Avenue shortly before 10 p.m. when shots were fired, and the boy was struck in the upper right side of his back.
The 33-year-old was in a vehicle in the 5000 block of West Huron Street about 3:30 p.m. when he was shot several times in the leg, police said.
The most recent shooting happened in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side. About 9:40 p.m., a 43-year-old man was sitting in a parked vehicle in the 5000 block of West Chicago when someone walked up and shot him in the neck and back, police said. The person got into a white SUV and fled eastbound.
Most recently, a 30-year-old man was shot in the Hhumboldt Park neighborhood. The man was walking around 8:15 p.m. in the 1200 block of North Maplewood Avenue when an unknown male walked up to him and shot him in the left leg, according to Chicago Police.
The man walked into the branch at 6612 W. North Ave. at 1:36 p.m. and handed the teller a note announcing a robbery, according to the FBI and Chicago Police.
About 10:30 p.m., he hit the side of the bus with his hand to try and get it to stop in the 5500 block of West North Avenue, police said. When the bus driver stopped, the man was found on the ground with injuries, police said.
In three robberies, suspects "used force and threat of force" to take cell phones, wallets and money from drivers, according to a community alert from Chicago Police. In one incident, the robbers were armed with a knife.
