The driver of the Corvette, who was identified as 36-year-old Anthony Provost of Plano, was pronounced dead at the scene. The man driving the pickup survived with non-life threatening injuries.
Five people have died in just over a year at the intersection of FM 423 and Del Webb Boulevard in Frisco. One neighbor says he's heard and witnesses several close calls and crashes there.
