Quiet evening ahead for North Texas; foggy morning possible
All the rain and storms have moved out of the area, and we have a quiet evening ahead. Temperatures will fall into the low 60s overnight as fog develops.
Plan for extra time on the morning drive as it could be dense with visibility under ¼ mile at times—and you may need the windshield wipers with drizzle possible.
Light winds Wednesday mean the fog and clouds will be slow to clear out, likely sticking around until midday.
By early afternoon, clouds will begin to break with temperatures warming into the mid-upper 70s.
While we can't rule out a stray shower Wednesday and Thursday both days will be mostly dry.
Friday is our next chance for scattered showers in the afternoon.
Comfortable temperatures on the way for this Mother's Day weekend. We are watching the potential for a few showers Saturday afternoon, but will dry out Sunday.
Early next week is looking sunny and mild as temperatures climb back into the 80s.
