Benilde-St. Margaret's boys lacrosse team seeks 5th state championship

Ren Clayton joined WCCO-TV in October 2021. He grew up in Chanhassen, Minnesota, but most recently lived on the beaches of Hawaii!
After graduating from Concordia University, St. Paul, Ren produced a high school sports magazine show in the Twin Cities, then worked as a weekend sports anchor at KOTA-TV in Rapid City, South Dakota, and KHON2 in Honolulu.
Ren has covered it all, from surfing, to rodeo, to hurricanes. He's grateful to be back working in his hometown, covering the teams and people he grew up with.
When he's not working, you can find Ren playing golf in the summer and snowboarding in the winter.

Most Minnesotans can agree that mosquitoes aren't welcome, especially this time of year. But wet and warm weather means the state's biggest summer pest is making its comeback.
The event is a Minneapolis tradition that's been missing for two years. Now it's back and picking up where it left off.
"We're leaving our mark. We've always had a good softball program ever since we were younger and we always wanted to win a state title for our community and put Nicollet back on the map."
The NCAA Track and Field Championships start June 9. The Gophers' Abigail Schaaffe will be there competing in the 4x400 relay and her best race, the 400-meter hurdles.
