Friday's immigration operations which took place across Los Angeles, primarily in the Westlake District, downtown, and South L.A., led to protests over the weekend, resulting in 42 arrests. Those arrested are facing charges ranging from assault on an officer, and attempted murder to looting and failure to disperse.
An Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokesperson said that about 44 people were arrested Friday at three locations in Los Angeles.
