EU considers curb on vaccine exports

European leaders are expressing concern at a proposal by the European Union to block vaccine shipments to nations with already high inoculation rates. At a virtual summit Thursday, leaders, including German Chancellor Angela Merkel, balked at the idea, issuing a statement saying they were worried the move could severely disrupt global supply chains. Russian opposition leader poisoned

German Chancellor Angela Merkel is calling on President Vladimir Putin to provide answers after confirming that one of the Russian leader's top critics was poisoned. Alexei Navalny was attacked with the same military-grade nerve agent that was used to poison ex-Soviet spy Sergei Skripal in 2018.
