Federal cuts impact warning systems

The deadly floods in Texas earlier this month raised some questions about emergency warning systems. Survivors describe Texas flooding

Authorities continued their rescue and recovery missions in Central Texas on Tuesday as the death toll from last week's catastrophic flooding surpassed 100 people. Meanwhile, insurance experts have expressed concern over the coverage gap across Texas as the state becomes more susceptible to severe flooding driven by climate change.
