GOP, Dem strategists talk abortion on ballots

A campaign in Colorado that is trying to enshrine abortion rights in the state's constitution has gathered enough signatures to put the issue on the ballot this November. It's the latest state to put abortion on the ballot in an ongoing push to do the same in states across the country. CBS News political analyst Leslie Sanchez, a Republican strategist, and CBS News political contributor Joel Payne, a Democratic strategist, joined CBS News to discuss the movement.

Trump faces setbacks in several legal battles

There are updates on multiple legal issues that former President Donald Trump is facing. The judge overseeing Georgia's 2020 election case against Trump rejected his bid to have the case dismissed on the basis of free speech. That decision comes as New York Attorney General Letitia James is seeking more information about Trump's $175 million bond in his civil fraud case. Netanyahu address, TikTok brief in Congress

Senate Republicans will hear a virtual address from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Wednesday, a week after Democratic Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said Netanyahu had lost his way and called for a new election in Israel. U.S. intelligence officials will also brief senators on Tiktok as they continue weighing the House-passed bill that could lead to a ban on the app. CBS News congressional correspondent Nikole Killion has more.
