Chinese investments in U.S. technology

A six-month Politico investigation reports Chinese companies are actively looking to acquire and invest in U.S. startups that are working on technology that is vital to the U.S. military and economy. According to Politico, the U.S. Committee on Foreign Investment is not adequately staffed to review all investments that could pose national security threats to the United States. Cory Bennett, deputy national security editor for Politico, joins CBSN to discuss his reporting.

President Trump said Thursday the June 12th Singapore summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is set to proceed as planned, despite threats by the regime in Pyongyang for it to be canceled.
