California is home to the nation's toughest law dealing with antibiotics given to animals that people eat. Gov. Jerry Brown signed the bill Saturday. That is fueling the rise of antibiotic resistance in people, including the threat from superbugs. Dr. David Agus joins "CBS This Morning" from Los Angeles to discuss the impact of the new law.

A high school football game Friday night in Long Beach, California, turned violent after a player from Milikan High was seen kicking a Lakewood High player -- whose helmet had come off -- in the head. After the game, the family of a Lakewood player allegedly pushed past security into the Milikan locker room and attacked some of those players. Erica Nochlin of CBS Los Angeles reports.

A man is under arrest Monday in connection with the deadly hit and run accident on Halloween that killed three teen girls who were out trick-or-treating in Santa Ana. Jaquinn Raymond Bell, 31, has been arrested for felony hit and run causing death. Police say Bell did not stop to help the children and kept driving.
