Former Vice President Joe Biden, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, got some unsolicited advice this week when Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar removed herself from the veepstakes.
Democratic Senator Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota revealed on Thursday that she was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year. She told CBS Minnesota that "in the course of it, I found out that thousands of women have undetected breast cancer right now, and one in three Americans are not moving forward with routine physicals during the pandemic."
Senator Amy Klobuchar revealed that she was diagnosed with Stage 1A breast cancer earlier this year, after delaying her mammogram due to the pandemic. She underwent a lumpectomy and radiation treatment and says she's doing well. CBSN's Tanya Rivero has more.
