Snow totals from massive Pittsburgh winter storm as much as 20 inches in parts of the area

A historic winter storm blasted the Pittsburgh area on Sunday, blanketing roads and covering driveways throughout the region with more than a foot of snow. 

The snow heavy snowfall ended on Sunday night night, though some communities in western Pennsylvania will see snow continue until Monday morning. The storm dropped  more than 10 inches of snow across most of the area, with some counties seeing between 16 and 20 inches of snow.

Allegheny County

  • Bethel Park: 14 inches as of 9:30 p.m. Sunday
  • Hampton Township: 14 inches as of 9:30 p.m. Sunday
  • Ross Township: 12 inches as of 3:15 p.m. Sunday
  • Pittsburgh: 11.2 inches as of 9:30 p.m. Sunday

Armstrong County

  • Kittanning: 12 inches as of 1:28 p.m. Sunday

Beaver County

  • Beaver Falls: 18 inches as of 9:30 p.m. Sunday
  • Midland: 15 inches as of 12:38 p.m. Sunday
  • Freedom: 15.8 inches as of 6 p.m. Sunday
  • West Mayfield: 20 inches as of 9:30 p.m. Sunday

Butler County
