The heaviest of the rain has ended across the Philadelphia area, but light to moderate showers will be possible through midday before some drier air begins to move in.
Meteorologists Kate Bilo and Grant Gilmore have the latest on the storm that closed roads and caused flooding in the Philadelphia area overnight Monday.
Wind gusts up to 50 mph were reported along the Jersey Shore Monday morning as rain continues to move across the region. In Ocean City, ponding on the roads and blustery conditions made for a messy drive.
Heavy rain will continue to fall across the region throughout the Monday morning commute before tapering off later in the morning, but strong gusty winds will continue thru the day. Moderate to major flooding is possible on smaller streams. Kate Bilo has your morning forecast.

Heavy rain is expected late Sunday night and into Monday morning in the Philadelphia region. Winds could reach 25 to 35 miles per hour in Philadelphia and closer to 50 miles per hour at the Jersey shore.
