Tredyffrin Township police officers including a K-9 unit swept Conestoga High School in search of a bomb on Thursday morning after someone called in a threat to a 911 Call Center. The school is opening on a 3-hour delay after no threat was found and the call was deemed a hoax.
A Chester County high school teacher is facing charges after being accused of having a sexual relationship with a student, the district attorney said Wednesday.
In a statement, the superintendent and principal wrote: "We have seen threatening statements directed toward other students, including racist and homophobic slurs and insults."
In November, Phillips pleaded guilty to involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault and other charges.
