Prosecutors say Christopher Murray has agreed to plead guilty Tuesday to third-degree murder and serve a 20- to 40-year sentence.
Assistant District Attorney Joanne Pescatore says there have been five continuances in court, as 48-year-old Christopher Murray mulled it over and kept delaying a decision.
After the body of Constance Murray was found in Pennypack Park, police conducted a search for the killer for several days -- until suspicion turned to the husband.
Police held a briefing on Sunday afternoon at police headquarters to detail their findings.
