Cherelle Parker's 100-day plan for Philadelphia includes hiring more police officers, declaring a public safety emergency and removing college requirements for city jobs, Wakisha Bailey reports.
Other city officials were also sworn into office Tuesday during Parker's inauguration.
Since winning the November election, Parker has stayed busy, putting together her cabinet and other key figures in her administration.
Parker will declare a public safety emergency and unveil plans to add more police officers on Philadelphia streets with a focus on community policing and more in her first 100 days.
Philadelphia residents said they're excited about the vision Parker plans to bring to the city.
