Luigi Mangione will not face death penalty if convicted in his federal case

The death penalty is now off the table in the federal case against Luigi Mangione. The judge on Friday dismissed two charges, which removes capital punishment. She also ruled the jury will be allowed to consider the evidence taken from Mangione's backpack, including a gun and a notebook.
