The NYPD on Wednesday was searching for two suspects who allegedly pretended to be police officers as they robbed people on Staten Island.
Daniel Nieto was taken into custody Tuesday in East Brunswick and is facing extradition back to Staten Island, police said. Charges are pending.
Nieto allegedly entered the girl's home through the back door at around 2:45 a.m. back on Aug. 6, entered the girl's bedroom and sexually assaulted her.
