Woman's remains found in basement of Brooklyn building, police say
A woman's remains were found in the basement of a Brooklyn building, according to police.
Officers were called at 9:38 a.m. Sunday to a residential building on Bushwick Avenue in Williamsburg. They found the remains of an unidentified woman in the basement.
No arrest has been made as police continue to investigate.
Officials are waiting for the medical examiner's office to determine the cause of death.
