Woman Dies After Fire Breaks Out In LI Home
HOLTSVILLE, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- A Suffolk County woman died after being rescued from a burning house on Sunday afternoon, according to police.
Annette Larusso, 65, was rescued by the Holtsville Fire Department after a fire broke out at her home at 21 Mary Lu Drive at around 12:20 p.m., police said.
Larusso was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital, where she later died from fire-related injuries, police said.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
