Police: Woman Critically Injured By Hit-And-Run Driver In Williamsburg

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police have released a surveillance image of a car they said was involved in a hit-and-run that left a woman badly injured in Brooklyn.

According to investigators, the woman had been trying to hail a cab when she was side-swiped by a gray BMW. It happened just after midnight near Rodney Street and Metropolitan Avenue in Williamsburg.

Police said the victim, who is in her 30s, is in critical condition at Bellevue Hospital Center.
