Wheels Of Hope Wants You To Adopt An Animal Left Homeless Due To Superstorm Sandy
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Hundreds of pets are without a home for the holidays because of Hurricane Sandy.
Debbie Fierro of the Wheels Of Hope program stopped by the CBS 2 studios to show off some dogs that are up for adoption.
Fierro has been working day and night to get dogs, cats, birds and other animals as well as people, food and supplies to shelters, vet clinics, hospitals and other foster care homes.
Wheels of Hope is the only program in New York State that provides animal transportation services that's run by the Mayor's Alliance for NYC's Animals.
