Vanderbilt Hall At Grand Central Terminal Turned Into Bowling Alley For National Competition
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Trains aren't the only things rolling in Grand Central Terminal this week.
Vanderbilt Hall has been converted into a bowling alley for the 15th annual national Teen Masters Bowling Championship.
The competition is being held Tuesday and Wednesday.

Eight of the top high school bowlers in the country are competing for the top prize of a $64,000 college scholarship.
"I firmly believe that an education is very valuable for several reasons but I also believe that sports can teach kids as much as classroom education can, so I try to combine the two worlds," tournament founder Gary Beck said, adding that over $100,000 will be awarded during the event.
This is the second year Vanderbilt Hall is hosting the tournament, which is free and open to the public.
"It's my intent to make Grand Central the equivalent of what Williamsport, Pa. is to Little League baseball," Beck said.
The competition began at noon Tuesday.
Semifinals will commence at 9 a.m. Wednesday. The event will conclude at 8 p.m. Wednesday.
