United Airlines Returns To JFK Airport Following 5-Year Break

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Passengers can now catch a United Airlines flight out of John F. Kennedy International Airport for the first time in five years.

The carrier returned to JFK with flights over the weekend.

The airline left the area's biggest airport in Oct. 2015 after findings its routes were unprofitable.

The company's current CEO said that was a mistake. United now serves all three New York-area airports.
