United Airlines Plane Makes Hard Landing In Portland
NEWARK, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- No injuries were reported after a United Airlines flight that originated in Newark made a hard landing in Portland, Oregon.
United says Flight 1551 popped a tire during takeoff Sunday night. Emergency crews were standing by in Portland, prepared for the worst, but the flight landed safely.
After landing, the plane was then towed to a gate and passengers were able to safely exit the aircraft.
