Family Mourns After Teen Is Found Shot Dead In Union, N.J.
UNION, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- A homicide investigation was under way in Union, New Jersey Sunday night, after a teenager was found shot to death.
Family members of the victim – identified as Jose Yampier Diago, 19, of Elizabeth – gathered at the crime scene after hearing the news.
Police said Diago – seen on the right in the photo below with his uncle, Candido Morales – was shot around 2 p.m. on Gates Terrace.
Investigators have not released a motive in the shooting.
