Tractor-Trailer Strikes Overpass On Jackie Robinson Parkway In Queens
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The top of a tractor-trailer was sheared off Friday after it hit an overpass on the Jackie Robinson Parkway in Queens.
It happened at the Union Turnpike exit just before 11 a.m.
Westbound traffic was shut down.
Commercial trucks are not allowed on New York state's parkways as overpass clearances are too low.
