Sometimes the craving hits for a burger, but there are just so many choices.  Maybe your coworker likes big, meaty burgers that leave you unbuttoning your pants, but you like smaller burgers that satisfy you without putting you into a stupor for the rest of the afternoon.  Where do you go?  Five Guys fills the need perfectly: with their burgers, which are double patties of grilled meat, or their 'little' burgers, which are single patties of the same meat.  Add on as many toppings as you want from the list of fifteen complimentary choices to create your own personalized burger without breaking the bank.  Be sure to order the regular fry - Five Guys style (plain) or cajun - it's enough to comfortably share.

Located close to the courthouses, Pasta Lovers certainly feeds the masses inexpensively.  While the pasta may not be the most innovative, you will not leave hungry.  Once you're seated, bruschetta (pictured) is brought to the table for you to munch on while you browse the menu, which, despite the name, does not only have pasta.  Really, Pasta Lovers is closer to a diner that happens to do pasta quite well, if that's what you desire, but also has plenty of other choices with an Italian-American slant to them.  Soup, salads, sandwiches, and - if you're in a hurry - check out the express pasta section of the menu.  Pasta Lovers is sure to have something to make you happy.

Kimbap is one of those perfect foods; rice, rolled up in savory seaweed, stuffed with tasty morsels of pickled vegetable, raw vegetables, a bit of egg, and whatever you've chosen as the main component of your kimbap.  Executed well, each bite comprises a bit of each, and you get a delicately balanced melody of flavors.  Boon Sik Zip, for $5.99 + tax, offers this for your lunchtime needs.  The bulgogi kimbap (pictured) is the perfect combination of slightly sweet, slightly savory, and completely delicious.  It also comes with a small cup of fishcake soup, perfect to round out the meal and help fill you up.  Of course, they have plenty of other options as well - such as fried squid, fishcake on a stick, or soups... perhaps for another day?
