Tire, Rim Thefts Continue On Long Island
WANTAGH, NY (CBSNewYork) - We told you last week how thieves took the rims and tires off of five cars in Massapequa, Long Island - leaving the vehicles on blocks in the streets.

Now a dealership was also hit.
Police said the rims and the tires were taken from seven vehicles at Merrick Dodge in Wantagh.
The estimated loss to the dealership - a whopping $26,000.
Authorities told WCBS 880 reporter Sophia Hall that it takes the crooks only about thirty seconds to steal four rims and tires from a car.
Police have no description of the suspects.
