Teen faces murder charges after Staten Island man found decapitated
A Staten Island man faces murder charges after police made a gruesome discovery on Staten Island.
Police sources say Anthony Casalaspro, 45, was found decapitated inside the bathroom of a home on Cary Avenue near North Burgher Avenue in West Brighton Monday.
Damien Hurstel, 19, faces murder and weapons charges. Hurstel has no prior criminal history.
Authorities are trying to determine if the incident was domestic in nature.
