4 firefighters among 9 injured in Ridgewood fire
NEW YORK -- More than 140 FDNY and EMS members responded to a four-alarm fire Saturday morning in Queens.
It started at around 5:15 a.m. inside an apartment building on Gates Avenue in Ridgewood before it spread to the building next door.
Four firefighters were among nine people taken to a local hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
There was no immediate word on what started the fire.
